Episode 8 of Drew’s Brews Reviews is here! The beer review show you never knew you wanted and no one needs. I take it easy in this episode with an easy drinkin’ Belgian Farmhouse beer from Southern Tier. It’s fermented with maple syrup to give it an earthiness that seemed to elude me when I tasted it. Ah well, I also talk about the label artist Nate Duval, compare this beer in a flute and snifter, and marvel as Goatboy makes a minor appearance! Yup, Goatboy, the Imperial Weizenbock mascot I never knew I wanted.

Episode 7 – Hopslam (2014)
Episode 7 of Drew’s Brews Reviews is here! The beer review show you never knew you wanted and no one needs. I get hop-slammed in this episode and take on one of the most popular beers for casual and hardcore beer drinkers alike. I had this last year on draft and bottle and it quickly became one of my favorite IPAs. A year later and a few hundred more beers under my belt and in the fatty tissue of my gut, I dive in to see if you can indeed go home again.
Episode 6 – Van Steenberge – Gulden Draak (Whiskey Barrel-Aged)
Episode 6 of Drew’s Brews Reviews is here! The beer review show you never knew you wanted and no one needs. This is a beer from Van Steenberge that breaks from tradition by whiskey barrel-aging Gulden Draak for your tummy-warming pleasure. Just what whiskey barrels were used? I have no idea! Check out my leg-slappingly good review (seriously, I had no idea I was constantly thunderclapping throughout the review and apologize for the auditory assault) of this boozy BSDA (or is it?) from Ghent.

Episode 5 – Stone – Enjoy By 02.14.14
Episode 5 of Drew’s Brews Reviews is here! The beer review show you never knew you wanted and no one needs. It’s another new brew from Stone because this one’s got a timer on it. I reviewed this as soon as I could as Enjoy By 02.14.14 will hop-splode if not reduced to liver juice by the given date. Beers not named Heddy Topper can’t get any fresher, so I see if brewery to mouth in only a few days is the future of IPAs.
Episode 3 – Southern Tier – Warking! – (Part 2)
The second part of Episode 3 of Drew’s Brews Reviews is here! The beer review show you never knew you wanted and no one needs. Ken and I continue our conversation about Southern Tier’s Pumking and Warlock by combining them in the same glass for a taste-splosion of pumpkin beer.
As this is not a sanctioned beer from the brewer, i.e. it is not a quality controlled beer released by Southern Tier, we don’t review it per say. Instead, we provide our impressions and let you know if it’s worth trying out. If you want a better analysis of Pumking or Warlock, you should check out part 1 and get off my back.
